Greetings!
Welcome to the Santa Fe Christian Middle School, which I often refer to as the “vanilla cream” of the Oreo cookie! Would you agree with me that the best part of the Oreo cookie is the vanilla cream? What makes the SFC Middle School a unique and special school is the dedicated and professional faculty known for its passion to nurture and develop the spiritual, intellectual, social and physical development of each and every student.

Parents, the middle school years are filled with new opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities that will impact and influence your child’s development and the MS staff is here to partner with you during these critical years. Our staff is passionately committed to the school’s mission of partnering with Christian parents to “disciple students to embrace biblical truth, strive for academic excellence and model Christ-like leadership to influence their homes, churches, and communities for the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Parents and students, we are honored that you have chosen to be a part of Santa Fe Christian, whether you are new to our campus or returning. I encourage you, our students, to get involved in your school! You can

  • join an interscholastic sports team
  • participate and lead in the area of worship during Chapel
  • join the “techie gurus” in the computer lab after school
  • snowboard or ski with the 55 other students involved in this club
  • explore and invest your artistic talents in Art
  • begin your singing career in Choir or your acting career in Drama
  • learn to knit with the Knitting Club
  • delve deeper into History with the History Club
  • participate with the Chess Club
  • and more!

You are a part of the SFC family and one of our goals is that you will learn what the SFC “experience” is all about by getting involved!

Students, at Santa Fe Christian, two of our highest priorities are to 1) love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and soul and 2) to love others as ourselves! We (faculty, parents, and staff at SFC) strongly desire our school to be known for its “Christ-like” spirit. Encouragement, expressing gratitude, and considering others as better than ourselves are just a few of the practical ways that we can put our faith into action! There are going to be times this next year when we may be tempted to use inappropriate language, speak unkindly to our peers, or perhaps to not honor or respect our teachers. My hope and prayer is that we think of the acronym, JOY (Jesus, Others, Yourself), so that we choose to speak with the mind and heart of Jesus Christ, one to another.

Our world is in great need of Christians who can challenge the institutions in America that promote relativism and secular humanism. Students, the middle school staff is confident that you will strive for academic excellence as you utilize the gifts and talents with which the Lord has blessed you. Believe it or not, earning A’s in school is the “cool” thing to do and it will open up opportunities for you such as getting into honors classes, being accepted to the college of your choice, and possibly saving you tons of money if you earn a academic scholarship. Most importantly, you can make a difference for the Kingdom of Christ by striving for academic excellence!

Soar like an Eagle!
God Bless you!
