2008-2009 Admissions Entrance Tests
Kindergarten: DRS (Developmental Readiness Scale)
Students are assessed for developmental readiness. The evaluation takes
approximately 45 minutes. There is no need to prepare. Children need to be 5
years old by September 1st. All appointments are scheduled in advance with
SFCS Admissions. The test location is SFCS Early Childhood Education Center
(845 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas)
DRS Schedule (One hour appointments are available between 9am and Noon)
Mondays: February 2 or 9th OR Tuesdays, Feb. 3 or 10th
Grades 1-5: WRAT (Wide Range Achievement Test)
Students are tested at their grade level to determine academic ability &
competence. The test takes approximately 30-45 minutes. All appointments
are scheduled in advance with SFCS Admissions. The test location
is Santa Fe Christian School (838 Academy Drive, Solana Beach).
WRAT Schedule (One hour appointments are available between 9am and 2pm)
SATURDAYS: Nov. 15, Dec. 13, 2008 Jan. 17, 24, 31, Feb. 14, 28, 2009
Grades 6-12: ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam)
Students are tested in math, english and writing. The ISEE takes approximately 3
hours. ISEE registration must be made directly with ISEE at 800-446-0320. Please
see the ISEE booklet for more information. Use SFCS school code #052741 to
register. Since SFCS is a closed test site only SFCS applicants test at SFCS; we are
not listed in the ISEE booklet. The test location is Santa Fe Christian School (838
Academy Drive, Solana Beach).
