For the 2010-2011 school year, the athletic department will require that all  athletic packets be submitted according to their deadlines.  This is intended to alleviate stress for our families, improve communication with our coaches concerning the health of their athletes, and to ensure that our athletic programs and athletes are not delayed at the onset of tryouts.  To guarantee that all athletes are covered through their entire season all athletic paperwork, including the physical must be dated between May 17 (the date of the all school physical), and August 20.   Regardless of paperwork submitted 2009-2010, the athletic department will require that all athletic packets follow this policy.  We encourage all incoming freshman to have an athletic packet completed so they are ready to compete if their athletic interests change during the year.

For FALL SPORTS the DEADLINE is August 6, 2010

For WINTER AND SPRING SPORTS the DEADLINE is August 20, 2010

The Total Athlete...
Many successful people credit high school sports as a major factor in their accomplishments. It is there they learned dedication, commitment, teamwork, and perseverance.

At Santa Fe Christian School we believe sports help teach the important qualities needed to succeed in life. Our coaches are dedicated to teaching the principles of II Timothy 4:7.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
- II Timothy 4:7

We teach not only the skills of the sport but also the practical aspects of living the Christian life. We hold our athletes to a higher standard. We expect them to achieve in the classroom as well as on the field or court. Our coaches are devoted to developing the total athlete. We believe good sportsmanship is as important as winning.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God, the Father through Him.
- Colossians 3 :17
