I began my career in education in 1995 at West Los Angeles Baptist School. During my tenure there, I served as a teacher, assistant principal, and most recently, as principal. I enjoy serving on accreditation committees as well as attending professional development opportunities. I also have some interesting hobbies. In 1998, I went through the Los Angeles Police Department's reserve academy. For 10 years, I worked two patrol shifts a month; writing tickets, answering radio calls and making arrests. I am a certified SCUBA diver and I've bungee-jumped off a10-story building. I am currently working on my golf game. My husband and I are gifted with two beautiful children. Katherine is a second grader in the Lower School. Kevin is two-years old and can't wait to join his sister at SFC. God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to work at SFC. Counseling is an integral part of a successful college preparatory school and I look forward to partnering with parents, students, teachers and administrators in developing a program that continues earning SFCS the respect of colleges everywhere. Students: The work habits you develop, the knowledge that you gain, and the character you build during your high school years will shape how successful you are in life. Not which college you attend. Most importantly, remember that the school you get your diploma from does not define who you are. You are first and foremost, a child of God. "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6.
