The SFC campus is undergoing an exciting transformation, thanks to the generous giving of SFC family and friends. Already our students are benefiting from a state-of-the-art library and tech center, a cutting-edge science center, new Upper School classrooms and a professional-grade athletics field.
Over the next several years, the building campaign will continue our progress to modernize the SFC campus, as we replace deteriorating classrooms. The remaining phases of this campaign are:
Build Upper School East Quad:
The second half of our Quad, Upper School East, will provide 5 additional classrooms, a customized ASB facility, a Guidance center for college planning, principal and staff offices and a teachers’ workroom.
Build a new Center for Worship and the Arts:
As a bricks-and-mortor reflection of our faith, the planned Center for Worship and the Arts will be a place for devotion, inspiration and commitment. It will house our weekly chapel services and special assemblies, and be the site for special events such as Christmas programs, weddings and community events.
Our students will be able to develop and express their God-given creative talents within the Center for Worship and the Arts. For those gifted in performing arts, this facility will feature a professional-grade theatrical stage, orchestra pit and a 700+ seat auditorium. Musical students will make a joyful noise in rooms designed for choir, band and individual practice. Imaginations will run wild in new facilities for fine art, which include an outdoor pottery enclave. Spiritual development and educational enrichment are two vital characteristics of SFC that differentiate our school. This facility will provide a home in which to nurture each.
Build a new Middle School:
The new Middle School will provide 15 classrooms, Science labs for 6th, 7th and 8th grade, a Drama office and classroom, and 4 rooms for small group instruction. New Middle School administrative offices will provide a receptionist and waiting area, a Principal's office, conference room, and faculty workroom and storage area. The Middle School campus will provide a home for our Health Services office to include a Nurse's office complete with waiting area, cot/clinic room, and exam/treatment room.
Build a new Lower School:
Build a Middle School Gymnasium and remodel the Upper School Gymnasium:
Building Campaign
The creation of these new buildings are longer-term “stretch” goals. Ultimately, we rely upon God’s continued faithfulness for the completion of these facilities. He will equip us and renew us as we build SFC for His glory.
