1. The HELPS (Helping Everyone with Limitless Passion) outreach. Five senior boys go down with SFCS staff and spend four days ministering and helping the missionary couples that SFCS has partnered with the past 8 years.These couples are with YUGO and Real Life Ministries. The students paint, build, and repair whatever the missionary family needs.
2. The second trip is the 7th-8th grade trip. Sixteen students and staff spend four days in Ensenada, working with YUGO missions. They paint and repair damaged houses and churches. They minister to the area children as well.
3. The third trip is Upper School. Fourteen to sixteen student and three staff build a house outside of Ensenada. They spend five days and do everything from the foundation to handing the keys over to the family. Many times the family that is receiving the house, join the students and work side by side.
On the Italy trip, we will be working with Andrea and Emanuela Artioli and their church, Sola Grazia for 4 days. Then we will go to Rome to work with Corrado Primavera and his family at their Calvary Chapel church. We will be interacting with the youth of the church and the neighborhood.
This year we will be working with Christian Associates International for 5 days in Grasse, France. We will then be going to Paris to work with the Calvary Chapel. We will be running youth and Easter services, doing street surveys/evangelism, singing, praying, and doing work projects that the missionaries need done.
The team is made up of thirteen students and three staff. This ministry is with the Kargel and Badeker School in St. Petersburg, Russia, the only Christian School in the city. The team teaches English to grades 1-11, they do an entire chapel service and spend time ministering to the Russian students.
Twelve students and three staff minister in Udon Thani, Thailand and partner with the first Baptist church of Udon Thani. The team will be building two outside basketball courts, ministering in an orphanage, and doing a literature campaign in the local parks working with the members of the Baptist church.
In Uganda, students have the unique opportunity to build lasting relationships with local pastors, teachers, and students at the Victors Christian School in Mukono. Teams from SFCS build homes in local villages, lead Vacation Bible School programs at local churches, and fellowship with students enrolled at Victors Christian.
In the Dominican Republic, teams minister to children living in the sugarcane villages surrounding Santo Domingo, visit the children of Jackie’s House ( a home for the abandoned children of prostitutes), and feed and play with the children living in the garbage dumps outside of the city.
