STAFF APPRECIATION
On October 8th the lower school staff enjoyed a great luncheon hosted by the 5th and K classes. It's all in part to some very generous underwriters.
We can thank them by graciously patronizing their businesses. They are:
Mae Chan Floral Design
Diamond Boutique
Rudy's Taco Shop
The next staff appreciation luncheons are scheduled for February 11 and April 29. If you know of a business that would also want to be an underwriter, please contact Brenda Corsi at corsient@roadrunner.com.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Uniform Resale - donate or volunteer
PAC is planning a used uniform resale. More information coming.
When you donate your gently worn uniform items, you get shopping credit at the uniform resale! Simply deposit your items in one of the designated containers located by the LS green picnic tables or by the LS Admin Office. Make sure your name is clearly marked on your bag to receive credit toward purchases made at the resale. Contact Erin Mirich (position open) for more information, or if you would like to help organize, set up, or assist at the resale. erinmirich@abcglobal.net
PAC FUNDRAISERS:
LowerSchoolRed SFC T-Shirts
Show your SFC pride by wearing our red SFC t-shirt and/or sweatshirt on Spirit Days, which are held on most Fridays.
To purchase a Red Shirt, stop by the Lower School Office or complete this order form and send it with your check to your student's teacher.
T-shirts are $12 (children) and $15 (adults); Sweatshirts are $30.
eScrip News
eScrip is an easy way to financially support Lower School, and it costs you nothing! Already, 71% of SFC families are participating! Help us reach our goal of 95% participation!
Register or renew your debit/credit card and your VONS club card at http://www.escrip.com .Our school code is 136559144.
Vons is the ONLY card that needs to be renewed annually. Don't shop at Vons? That's okay! There are dozens of other retail partners where we can earn $$$ for SFC. Just shop and use a registered credit or debit card and a percent of that sale is refunded directly to Lower School PAC. These funds go to pay for things like new lunch tables, teacher appreciation events, new family/student events and much more!
The eScrip website is a great source of information, however, if you have any problems or questions, please feel free to contact Brenda Corsi at Corsient@roadrunner.com.
Recycling program
We are also collecting used cell phones, ink and laser jet cartridges and toner cartridges for our eScrip recycling program. Help the environment, and your school, and drop these items off in the marked bins located in the library foyer and in front of the lower school office.
