Mrs. Nicodemus Kindergarten TeacherI am privileged to not only be a parent of three SFC students but also to teach here. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with other Christian parents to educate their children from a Biblical perspective. I enjoy being able to bring the truth of God’s Word into every subject. Kindergarten is about laying a foundation for the many years of learning to come. It is my goal for each one of my students to have an exciting and positive beginning. I want them to love school as well as develop the necessary habits and skills that they will need to help them become independent learners. A high priority is placed on maintaining a secure environment for students. This is done through the use of age appropriate and consistent structure, routines, expectations and rewards. At SFC, kindergarten is primarily academic with reading and math as our focus. However, our curriculum is rich with traditional hands on activities, science, social studies, music, art, literature, and creative play. Our Bible curriculum is character trait based and highlights many Bible stories. Our Class verse is Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me your ways, O Lord, and teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” |
