Mrs. Nixon Third Grade TeacherIt is such a blessing to be teaching at Santa Fe Christian! I have the amazing privilege of guiding my students both academically and spiritually. The goal I have for my students is to instill in them a never ending love of learning and a deeper desire to understand God and his plan for their lives. Our class verse teaches us to “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and God affirmed this calling in my life during my first year of teaching. I taught fifth grade at Santa Fe Christian during the 2006-2007 school year and was blessed by all the staff, faculty, students, and families here at SFC. I had a great year in fifth grade and I am excited to be joining the third grade team. God is alive at Santa Fe Christian and I am truly privileged to be a part of the SFC family. |
