Mrs. Robinson     Second Grade Teacher

Mission Statement as an Educator

“For I know the plans for you, declares the Lord… plans to prosper you, not to harm you… plans to give you hope… and plans to give you a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Since committing myself to the Lord and to teaching his children, my mission has and will always be “to turn students onto life-long learning at an early age.”

I will accomplish this by:

•using the latest teaching techniques to capture and maintain my students’ attention and involvement in a warm, friendly, hands-on environment;
•introducing creative, interactive techniques to further demonstrate or illustrate text book lessons;
•actively researching, completing continuing education courses and developing engaging lesson plans that maintain a challenging and effective academic environment;
•implementing positive Christ-like classroom strategies and teachings;
•assisting students one-on-one to help them grasp difficult subjects;
•making sure every student that leaves my class at yearend is prepared for the next level, is confident and most importantly, is motivated and compassionate about learning
