Mrs. Sloan First Grade Teacher
Teaching first grade in the Santa Fe Christian lower school is a tremendous blessing for me. Sharing Jesus Christ on a daily basis with my students is a freedom and privilege I cherish.
In Luke 18:16 Jesus stated, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Working together with parents to bring these “little ones” into a closer relationship with Jesus is an honor.
Our entire curriculum is taught from a Christian world view. Whether we are studying order properties in math or phonemic patterns in words, God is given the glory.
I’ve been happily married to my husband, Tim, for twenty-five years. We have two grown children. My hobbies include traveling and reading.
