Ms. Ellis Professional Educational AssistantIt is an absolute privilege to be the Lower School Professional Education Assistant and Teacher. My purpose and desire is to train the whole student, so that he/she will develop according to the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and to be a Godly influence in the world (II Tim. 2:2 and Acts 1:8). The name Santa Fe, means “Holy Faith.” I firmly believe that at Santa Fe, Christian Education is seen not as an alternative to public education, but as education intended by God: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding (Prov. 9:10). This school began with the conviction that true education starts with God. We do not merely integrate God’s Word into the curriculum for IT IS the basis and the substance of ALL curriculum. My particular position is unique among Christian schools. I am able to foster positive and lasting relationships with elementary students that will help build on the foundational rock of developing the qualities and characteristics of a “Christian Leader.” Each morning, I am on my knees, asking for wisdom as I deal with daily situations and the day to day activities of the school. My prayer is “that they may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God…” (Col. 1:10-12). The children bring such a smile to my heart. I love them! Helping these little ones to build their lives around the principles of the scripture is an eternal investment that the Lower School places as a high priority. Truly, Santa Fe Christian, is about the people and not the buildings. We are a family! My desire is to keep growing spiritually and to be faithful to God. He is in control! I know the Lord is fulfilling a vision for “His” school. On the SFC campus, walking with our precious Jesus is a deep joy and a tremendous blessing. What a mighty God we serve! Go Eagles!
