Physical Science is the 8th Grader's introduction to Chemistry and Physics. As we explore the aspects of creation that unfold "behind the scenes" we are given a unique glimpse of the ways that God continues to "hold all things together" (Col 1:17). We'll look at topics like matter, chemical reactions, the forces of motion, and fluids. After graduating from the Naval Academy, I served in the Navy onboard an amphibious ship based in San Diego. After 3 years, God opened the door to enter the civilian world and I spent the next year interning at my church and getting involved in as much missions work as I could, visiting Thailand, Laos, Burma, England, and Mexico. I am honored and excited to be at Santa Fe Christian and can't wait to explore the scientific world with my students.
