Introduction to Art

Semester Class; Grades 7-8 (Beginner level)

This course is designed for the beginner level artist who isn’t quite sure of their skills, but would like to expand their abilities in the visual arts. This entry level art class will explore the creation of two and three dimensional art forms using a step-by-step process to build skills and confidence as an artist. The students will be exposed to different artists and styles of art, and a variety of materials will be used for experimentation and technique.
