Welcome to Pre-algebra BI grew up on a farm in a small town in Minnesota. I have 5 brothers and a great mom and dad. I attended North Park University in Chicago where I received my Bachelor's Degree. After graduation, I worked as a volunteer Christian Education director in San Andreas, CA where I worked with all ages in the Covenant Church. The following year, I was hired to teach P.E. and math at Christian High in El Cajon. I taught there for 12 years. I've been teaching at SFC for 19 years. There is no place I'd rather be and no other age I'd rather teach. I love the middle schoolers and their energy. I get to watch them as they mature into young adults. My favorite times are when I get to see them grasp a concept. They finally "get it" and a big smile appears on their face. That just makes my day! In my spare time, I love to run, travel, sing on worship teams, and spend time with my friends. I love sports and keep close track of the Padres, Chargers and Minnesota Vikings. It's been a great blessing teaching at SFC for all these years. Thank you for letting me be a part of your kids' lives. |
