Senior Bible The senior Bible class is an adventure through Christ’s life and the challenges He gave all His children in the Gospels. We visit the apostle Paul in the Epistles and he instructs us on how to apply Christ like values and how they enable us to make wise choices. We visit C.S. Lewis in “Mere Christianity” and conclude with him that, “no one could have made up Christianity.” We debate, compare, and challenge ethics, character and morality in Norman Geisler’s book “Christian Ethics. We strive in the end to put it all together and form a “world view” based on His character and His absolutes. In the process we memorized scripture, take tests and enjoy projects. This is my 6th year at SFC. I have been teaching in Christian education for the past 35 years. I grew up in Congo, Africa as a missionary kid where my mom and dad served for 26 years. I have a most lovely wife of 35 years and we have two children who are grown and married. Please know that I am most privileged to have the chance to teach and be taught by your student. |
