It has been my great pleasure to be a part of the SFC family. I grew up in a small town in Michigan and attended Cedarville University, where I met my husband and received my Bachelors Degree. After teaching for several years in Ohio's public school system, we moved to Florida, where I received my Masters Degree from Florida Atlantic University and taught at Westminster Academy (Ft. Lauderdale) for 11 years. God then brought us to Southern California, where I taught for another 11 years at Christian High School, in El Cajon. This is my eighth year at Santa Fe Christian, and in addition to teaching Freshmen English, I serve as the Director of Student Activities, overseeing the Upper School ASB Leadership Team. Having experienced both secular and Christian education on several levels, I can truly say that God "saved the best for last"! I consider it such a privilege to rub shoulders with such amazing co-workers and to play a part in the lives of these wonderful students!
