My Academic and Teaching BackgroundsI graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Biology in 1976, received a Master’s Degree in Aquatic Biology from U.C. Davis in 1978, a Teaching Credential from C.S.U. Sacramento in 1982, and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from U.C. Davis in 1987. I grew up always knowing that I wanted to be a teacher. I began my teaching career as a teaching assistant at U.C. Davis and I loved it! From there I got a job as a high school science and math teacher. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! I have taught high school Physics, Biology, General Science, Statistics, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Algebra 1. I have also taught Women’s Bible Study, Bible 101 (a curriculum that I developed), and a host of seminars at retreats and conventions. I love to teach. |
